Following their Copa del Rey triumph this past weekend by beating Real Madrid in the finals, there is more good news for FC Barcelona.
Hansi Flick, the man responsible for the success that the Catalans have achieved so far this season has reached an agreement in principle with the club over a new contract.
This claim comes from Sky Sports journalist Patrick Berger, who states that the Blaugrana plan on announcing the manager’s renewal next month.
Having joined Barcelona last summer, Flick had signed a two-year deal until 2026. But given how the team has evolved this season under his guidance, the Catalan giants have been working to further extend his contract for some time now.
And, it appears that an agreement in principle has now been reached between the two parties, with a few final details left to be resolved.
